Course Description and Intended Audience

Neuroradiology: Practice to Innovation is intended to provide a practical discussion and review of common diseases involving the brain, head/neck, and spine. It will also provide an overview of common imaging strategies, as well as an update in new trends, relevant techniques, and applications in diagnostic and/or therapeutic neuroradiology. In addition, this course will review common endovascular and spinal interventional techniques utilized in neuroradiology.

This course is designed for the practicing radiologist whose work involves neuroradiology, or those involved in the neurourological sciences, neurosurgery, neurology, and/or related fields.

This enduring material is a recording of the Neuroradiology: Practice to Innovation course (November 10-14, 2014) in streaming video and pdf format. Physician participation in this activity consists of reviewing the videos and completing the evaluation and exam. It is estimated that this activity will take 21 viewing hours to complete.

CME credit is obtained upon successful completion of a post-course quiz and program evaluation. The quiz must be successfully passed with 80% or higher within two attempts.

A certificate of attendance will be provided to other health care professionals for requesting credits in accordance with state nursing boards, specialty societies, or other professional associations.

How Do I Receive My Certificate of Attendance?

To complete the post-course quiz and request credit:

  1. View the online videos.
  2. If not already logged in, sign in at radiologyeducation.mayo.edu/
  3. Navigate to My Account, My Dashboard, Self Studies.
  4. Click "Evaluation Not startedStart" under program title. 
  5. Complete evaluation and Save and Finalize.  
  6. Click Generate certificates now.
  7. On certificate page, click Generate Certificate in upper right and save or print your certificate. Note: If you need to retrieve a certificate later, sign in to your account using the instructions above and click My Certificates.

How Do I Receive My SA-CME Credits?

On January 4, 2016, the ABR released simplified attestation in myABR. With simplified attestation, you can no longer manually enter licensure, credits or PQI information into myABR. All you will have to do is attest, (by clicking 'I Attest'), to completing all MOC requirements such as CME/Self-assessment and PQI. You do not need to submit CME certificates or documentation of PQI projects/activities to the ABR. You will do this at the beginning of each year. However, we do recommend that you save all of your CME certificates and PQI documentation in case you are selected for a random audit in the future.
