Course Description and Intended Audience
The Minnesota Breast Imaging Review Course is a post-graduate medical course that provides radiologists with up-to-date information on the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Didactic lectures include information on generally accepted practices, as well as new trends and emerging techniques in breast imaging. A collegial learning environment is provided during question/answer sessions and conference breaks where attendees and faculty have an opportunity to interact and share their knowledge.
This course is designed to update the breast imaging radiologist on generally accepted imaging practices, as well as new trends and emerging techniques in breast imaging.
This course is provided in collaboration with the University of Minnesota.
Course Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
Identify supplemental screening approaches
Describe the molecular subtypes of breast cancer
Examine challenging ultrasound cases and how to manage them
Identify the legal and regulatory issues in breast imaging
Describe breast ultrasound basics, tips, and tricks
