Lodging Accommodations

Wailea is a beautiful resort community nestled at the base of Haleakala and is distinguished by five beautiful, crescent-shaped beaches.

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at the Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui with a special course rate of $425 per night for Run of House Suites.

The maximum number of people per guest room is two adults or two adults and two children. A maximum of two children up to and including the age of 18 per room is complimentary. Each extra person sharing a room will be charged an additional $50 plus tax per night beginning with the third adult.

Please note that taxes are not included in the above mentioned rates. Please also note that there is an additional $12.00 per person plus applicable tax charge to cover round trip porterage and a $3.00 per suite, per day plus applicable tax charge and $11.00 per villa, per day plus applicable tax charge for housekeeping services.  These charges are separate and distinct from the room rate and room taxes and are subject to change. 

There is a reduced daily resort fee charge of an additional $20.00 per room per night plus tax. The resort fee includes basic internet access in your suite or villa, any local, domestic long distance and 1-800 access calls from suite or villa, self-parking, shuttle service within the Wailea area, in-suite bottled water, use of the fitness center, access to daily inspire your energy fitness classes, daily beach umbrella renter, 1-hour snorkel equipment rental (based on two sets per suite, per day), cultural activities, as well as many more services and amenities.

If you would like to use the Keiki Lani Kids Club or cultural activities, these can be booked at the concierge desk and should be done in advance to ensure availability.

Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-659-4100 or by calling the Kea Lani Hotel's direct number at 1-808-875-4100, ext. 801 during 8:00am – 3:30pm HST.  Please identify yourself as a participant in the 2019 Mayo Clinic Neuroradiology: Practice to Innovation course. The special group rates apply 3 days prior and 3 days post-course, based on availability. Reservations must be prior to Thursday, October 10, 2019, in order to be eligible for the group rates. Reservations may be made after this date based on space and rate availability.  Each reservation requires a two (2) night deposit at the time of booking.  We highly encourage you to make your room reservations early to avoid disappointment.  

Hotel Cancellation Policy: 1) Cancellation of individual reservations made up to (21) days prior to arrival will be accepted and the 2-night deposit refunded for the full stay if cancellation number is obtained.   Cancellations of individual reservations within (21) days and no shows will forfeit the two (2) night deposit of room and tax. Early Departure Fees:  You will be charged an Early Departure Fee of one (1) room night rate fee for guests who depart prior to their confirmed departure date.

Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is before 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

Lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.

Travel and Ground Transportation

The Fairmont Kea Lani is located approximately 17 miles (30 minutes) from the Kahului Airport (OGG). The Fairmont Kea Lani does not provide complimentary airport shuttle service, but other transportation options are available. Eight major rental car companies are represented at the Kahului Airport and are located just past the end of the baggage claim area. Avis Car Rental is also available on-site at the Fairmont Kea Lani. A one-way taxi fare to the Fairmont Kea Lani is approximately $70, and one-way private sedan fares accommodating up to 3 people begin at $269 USD. Rates are subject to change. 

Parking

Valet and self-parking for one vehicle per suite or villa is included in the daily resort fee. Rate is subject to change.

Neuroradiology meeting attendees that are staying else where may either self-park or valet park during the day at no charge while attending the meeting.

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel fees or penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant.

Travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
