Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check in.  

There is a daily resort fee of $34.49 per room, per night, plus tax which includes:

• Daily self-parking for one vehicle
• Daily unlimited internet connections
• Pool and beach chair service,
• Cultural activities including lei making, hula and ukulele lessons
• One complimentary bottle of water per day
• Nightly dining shuttle service to Mauna Kea Beach Hotel

The special group rates will apply one day prior to and three days post course, based on availability. Maximum guestroom capacity is 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.  Children 17 years and under traveling with an adult are complimentary when utilizing existing bedding in the same room.  Third person charge of $75.00 plus tax per night includes a rollaway, based upon request.

Please identify yourself as a participant in the Mayo Clinic Radiation Oncology Course when making your reservation.  In order to receive the special group rate, reservations must be made prior to Tuesday, November 5, 2019, and will be based on availability. Reservations will be taken following this date based on space and rate availability.  Early reservations are highly encouraged to avoid disappointment.

A one (1) night room and tax deposit will be charged at the time of booking.  This deposit is refundable if notice is received at least 14 days prior to arrival.  If cancellation is made within 13 days of arrival, a two (2) night penalty plus taxes will apply.  A No-Show charge of two (2) night room and tax will apply for individuals who fail to show for their confirmed reservation.

Hotel check-in time is 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is before 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

Travel and Ground Transportation

The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort is situated on the northernmost end of the Big Island of Hawaii.  The resort is 30 minutes from the Keahole-Kona International Airport (KOA).  Taxi service, private transportation, car rental companies, and shared airport shuttle service are all available from the Keahole-Kona International Airport (KOA).  Estimate taxi fare from Kona Airport to The Westin Hapuna Beach resort is $95 USD (one way).

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office and the Mayo School of CPD are not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel fees or penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant.
