Lodging Accommodations

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at the Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii with a special course rate of $259 per night for Run of House.

Discounted group rates are also provided for the following room categories and are based on availibility at the time of request:

• Ocean View Rooms - $389
• One Bedroom Executive Ocean View Suites - $499
• One Bedroom Ocean Front Suites - $599

The maximum number of people per guest room is three adults or two adults and two children. A maximum of two children under the age of eighteen per room is complimentary. Each extra person sharing a room will be charged an additional $75 plus tax per night beginning with the third adult.  

Please note that taxes are not included in the above mentioned rates. Please also note that Porterage, Maid Gratuities and Room Delivery charges are not included in the above room rates and are at the discretion of the individual guest.

There is a daily resort fee charge of an additional $15.00 per room per night plus tax. The resort fee includes basic internet access in guest rooms, self-parking, use of the fitness center, various cultural activities, snorkel equipment rental (based on two sets per room, per day - resort use only), as well as many more services and amenities.

The special group rates apply 3 days prior and 3 days post-course, based on availability. Reservations must be made on or before Thursday, October 12, 2017, in order to be eligible for the group rates. Reservations may be made after this date based on space and rate availability. We highly encourage you to make your room reservations early to avoid disappointment.

Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is before 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.

Travel and Ground Transportation

The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii is located approximately 45 minutes from the Kona International Airport (KOA) and approximately 2 hours from the Hilo International Airport (ITO). The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii does not provide complimentary airport shuttle service, but other transportation options are available. Most major rental car companies are located at the Kona International Airport terminal or call the Fairmont Orchid Concierge staff at 1-808-887-7320 to book a reservation with Air Taxi (fees apply).  

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel fees or penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant.

Travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.

Parking

Self-parking is included in the daily resort charge. Valet parking is $22 per night with unlimited access. Rate is subject to change.
