Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check in.  

There is a daily resort fee of $17.20 per room, per night, plus tax which includes daily self-parking for one vehicle, 1 daily bottle of water, daily unlimited internet connections (guestroom and designated Wi-Fi hot spots), beach chair service, cultural activities, nightly dining shuttle service to Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, local and long distance calls (United States only), and one Eco shopping bag.

Housekeeping Services:  Although room attendant gratuity is not mandatory, we suggest $3.50 per room, per day and $5.50 per suite, per day.  Per the hotel's COVID-19 protocol, full cleaning with a change of linens will be provided once every 3 days while the guest is away from the guest room (please see hotel protocols for COVID 19 above).  If you would prefer daily or more frequent service, please request at time of check-in.

Maximum guestroom capacity is 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.  Children 17 years and under traveling with an adult are complimentary when utilizing existing bedding in the same room.  Third person charge of $75.00 plus tax per night includes a rollaway, based upon request.  Prices subject to change.

Please identify yourself as a participant in the Mayo Clinic Neuroradiology Practice to Innovation Course when making your reservation.  In order to receive the special group rate, reservations must be made prior to Tuesday, October 12, 2021, and will be based on availability. Reservations will be taken following this date based on space and rate availability.  The Hotel will extend special group rates for three (3) days before and three (3) days after main dates, November 6-13, 2021, subject to group rate availability.  Early reservations are highly encouraged to avoid disappointment.

A one (1) night room and tax deposit must be received by the Hotel no later than 30 days prior to arrival.  Any cancellation within 14 days will be assessed a cancellation charge equal to one (1) night room charge.  This will include No-Shows and early check-outs.  This deposit is refundable if notice is received at least 14 days prior to arrival.  

Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is before 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

Travel and Ground Transportation

The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort is situated on the northernmost end of the Big Island of Hawaii.  The resort is 30 minutes from the Keahole-Kona International Airport (KOA).  Taxi service, private transportation, car rental companies, and shared airport shuttle service are all available from the Keahole-Kona International Airport (KOA).  

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office and the Mayo School of CPD are not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel fees or penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant.

Travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
