Course Description

Practical Neuroradiology: Excellence Through Evidence and Guidelines is intended to provide a clinically-relevant discussion of common diseases involving the brain, head/neck, and spine. In addition to the use of case-based imaging reviews to highlight pearls and pitfalls in diagnostic neuroradiology, existing guidelines and recent literature will be discussed in a matter that is germane to the daily practice of evidence-based medicine.  Teaching points will be reinforced by integrating self-assessment throughout the course.

Intended Audience

Practical Neuroradiology: Excellence Through Evidence and Guidelines is designed for the practicing radiologist whose work involves neuroradiology, or those involved in the neurourological sciences, neurosurgery, neurology, and/or related fields.

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler with special course rates:
Run of House: $405 CAD per nightHotel

Sleeping room rates are based on one or two adults per room. A charge of $50.00 per room per night will be assessed for a third adult, plus applicable taxes and fees. No additional charge for children under the age of 18 in parents’ room. Porterage charges have been established at $12.00 plus 5% GST, per person, round trip, based on a group arrival of 10 or more rooms. Housekeeping suggested gratuity is $5.00 plus 5% GST per room, per day for the Hotel’s Room Attendants. Suggested Concierge Ski Gratuity is $2.50 plus 5% GST per room, per day. Room rates include complimentary access to the outdoor heated pool, whirlpool hot tubs, eucalyptus steam rooms and 24 hour access to fitness facilities. All Group Room Rates are subject to all applicable taxes and fees.

Reservations can be made by calling 1-604-935-3400. Please identify yourself as a participant in the Mayo Clinic Neuroradiology Course when making your reservation. In order to receive the special group rate, reservations must be made prior to Wednesday, January 9, 2019, and will be based on availability. Reservations may be made after this date based on space and rate availability. Early reservations are highly encouraged to avoid disappointment.

The following are the hotel's deposit and cancellation policies:
  • All guest rooms must be guaranteed at time of reservation with a major credit card.
  • All guest rooms will be held for late arrival, if guaranteed.
  • A deposit of room and tax for the full stay will be taken thirty (30) days prior to arrival. This deposit is non-refundable.
  • In case of cancellation, a notice must be received by the Resort thirty-one (31) days prior to arrival for the deposit to be refunded. In the event the deposit is not received within the time limit stated, the deposit is nonrefundable.
  • Early departures will be charged full room revenue.

Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is before 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If any room is not vacated by this time, individual guests will be charged a late charge unless prior arrangements are made with the Hotel's management.

Lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.

Travel and Ground Transportation

Four Seasons Resort and Residendes Whistler is located 84 miles from the Vancouver International Airport, which services most national and international airlines and is the main airport servicing Whistler. While the hotel does not offer shuttle service, a myriad of transportation options are available to view here.

Travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.


Overnight Valet parking charges have been established at $29.00 per car, per night plus 5% GST. Hourly parking for guests is $5.00 per car, per hour, plus 5% GST.
