Lodging Accommodations

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at a special course rate.  Radiology CME kindly requests attendees limit the number of guest rooms reserved to a single room, when possible.  Please contact our CME office (Radiology CME@mayo.edu) to inquire about the availability of additional rooms, should you need more than one room.  In order to receive these special rates, reservations must be made on or before Thursday, December 10, 2026, and will be based on availability.  Reservations made after this date will be based on space and rate availability.

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Maui, Kapalua, with special course rates for the following room options.

• Deluxe Resort Rooms: $499/night plus taxes and fees
• Deluxe Ocean View Rooms: $549/night plus taxes and fees
• Ocean View Suites: $599/night plus taxes and fees

Please note that it is not unusual for the hotel to be fully booked by the November prior to the course so please make your hotel reservations early.

Reservations can be made by calling 1-808-669-6200.  Please identify yourself as a participant in the Mayo Clinic 2027 Radiation Oncology Course when making your reservation.  In order to receive the special group rate, reservations must be made on or before Thursday, December 10, 2026, and will be based on availability. Reservations will be taken following this date based on space and rate availability. The special group rate is offered Saturday, January 9 to Saturday, January 15, 2027.  Group rate offerred three (3) days pre and post based on group room availability of contracted guestroom types.

Hotel room rates are for single or double occupancy and are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check-out.  Additional fees will apply for triple/quad occupancy.

There is a reduced daily resort fee of $25.00 per room, per night, plus tax. The resort fee will cover several amenities, which include:

• Aloha welcome experience with non-alcoholic beverage delighter and fresh flower or kukui nut lei

GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS
All reservations must be accompanied by a first-night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. The hotel will not hold any reservations unless secured by one of the above methods.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation of individual reservations made up to 30 days prior to arrival will be accepted, and the deposit refunded for those rooms for the full night's stay.  For reservations cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival, individuals will be responsible for 100% of room revenue and be billed to the individual credit card on file. 

BAGGAGE HANDLING (PORTERAGE) SERVICE CHARGES
Baggage handling (Porterage) charges are mandatory per Hotel's union contract for all groups, and are currently established at $11.00 per person, round trip, plus applicable taxes that are subject to change. Charges are based on two (2) bags per person in and out of the hotel. 

Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is before 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

Travel & Ground Transportation

The Grand Hyatt is approximately 15 miles/30 minutes from Lihue Airport.

• Taxi's are available. Arrange in advance or airport phones are located curbside at baggage claim areas.
• Uber and Lyft are available.  
• All major rental car companies are represented on Kauai. To pick up your car at the airport, proceed from the baggage claim area to the Rent-A-Car booths across the street from the terminal. Avis is also available in the lobby of the resort.
• Hotel offers area shuttle service upon request 4:30 pm - 10 pm.
