Diagnostic Imaging Update 2027

Course Description & Intended Audience

Mayo Clinic Diagnostic Imaging Update is a post-graduate course designed to provide practicing radiologists, residents and fellows-in-training with a review of state-of-the-art imaging techniques. Back by popular demand from our previous participants, we have dedicated specific days for in-dept exploration of key topics, including abdominal, breast, chest, MSK, neuro, ultrasound, and more!    

Course Learning Objectives

• Recognize common pitfalls in PI-RADS Interpretation through case examples.
• Identify key MRI findings used in pancreatic cancer staging.
• Summarize the most clinically relevant changes in the new BI-RADS guidelines.
• Analyze common upper and lower extremity emergency imaging cases.
• Identify key imaging findings of ischemic stroke.
• Recognize how AI algorithms are being used in radiology practice today.
