Lodging Accommodations

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa with special course rates.  Radiology CME kindly requests attendees limit the number of guest rooms reserved to a single room, when possible.  Please contact our office (RadiologyCME@mayo.edu) to inquire about the availability of additional rooms, should you need more than one room.  In order to receive these special rates, reservations must by made on or before Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and will be based on availability.  

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa with special course rates starting at $315 for a Standard View.

Hotel room rates are subject to all applicable taxes and services charges at the time of check-in.  In addition to the room rate, there is a ten percent (10%) service fee charged per day.  The service charge includes round trip baggage handling and room attendant. The special group rates will apply three days prior to and three days post course, based on availability. A maximum of two children under the age of eighteen per room is complimentary.  Charges for roll-aways and cribs may apply.

There is a reduced daily resort fee of $30.00 per room, per night, plus tax. The resort fee provides for an enhanced stay experience for guests and which currently includes:

• Reusable logo tote bag – located in closet

• Nespresso coffee maker with coffee and tea
• Poipu Bay Golf Course and club house shuttle service 
• Access to 24 hour Anara Spa fitness center

Making Reservations

Reservations can be made by calling 1-808-742-1234 OR by using our unique booking link. Please identify yourself as a participant in the Mayo Clinic Neuroradiology course when calling to make your reservation. In order to receive the special group rates, reservations must be made on or before Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and will be based on availability. Reservations will be taken following this date based on space and rate availability. It is not unusual for the hotel to be fully booked by August. Early reservations are highly encouraged to avoid disappointment.

LATE CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS:
Twenty-one Days up to Eight Days Prior to Arrival: All cancellations received within this time period will be assessed two nights’ room rate, plus applicable taxes. Any adjustments to the reservations will be assessed half of the cancelled night(s) rate, plus applicable taxes.

Seven Days up to Arrival Date: Any and all adjustments to a reservation within this period will be assessed the cost of the full length of stay, plus applicable taxes. This includes full or partial cancellation or no shows.

PORTERAGE SERVICE CHARGES
Porterage charges are mandatory per Hotel's union contract for all groups, and are currently established at $13.00 per person, round trip, plus applicable taxes that are currently 17.962% subject to change. This rate is based on two (2) bags per person. 100% of porterage charges are allocated to service personnel who provide services for the Event.

HOUSEKEEPING GRATUITIES
Housekeeping gratuities are up to the individual’s discretion. All housekeeping gratuities are distributed to those members of Hotel’s staff servicing Group’s attendees.

Travel & Ground Transportation

The Grand Hyatt is approximately 15 miles/30 minutes from Lihue Airport.

• Taxi's are available. Arrange in advance or airport phones are located curbside at baggage claim areas.  
• Uber and Lyft are available.  
• All major rental car companies are represented on Kauai. To pick up your car at the airport, proceed from the baggage claim area to the Rent-A-Car booths across the street from the terminal. Avis is also available in the lobby of our resort.
• Hotel offers area shuttle service upon request 4:30pm - 10pm

Parking

Self-parking is included in the resort fee.  Valet parking is available for $30 per day. 

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME Office is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel fees or penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant.

Travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
