Lodging Accommodations

Guest rooms have been reserved by attendees and their guests at a special course rate.  Radiology CME kindly requests attendees limit the number of guest rooms reserved to a single room, when possible.  Please contact our CME office (Radiology CME@mayo.edu) to inquire about the availability of additional rooms, should you need more than one room.  In order to receive these special rates, reservations must be made on or before Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and will be based on availability.  Reservations made after this date will be based on space and rate availability. 

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa with special course rates starting at $475 per room, per night, plus tax for a Standard View.  The hotel rate increases with triple and quad occupancy.  Please note that it is not unusual for the hotel to be fully booked by the November prior to the course so please make your hotel reservations early.

Please identify yourself as a participant in the Mayo Clinic 2026 Radiation Oncology Course when making your reservation.  In order to receive the special group rate, reservations must be made on or before Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and will be based on availability. Reservations will be taken following this date based on space and rate availability. The special group rate is offered Saturday, January 3 to Saturday, January 10, 2026.  The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa will be happy to extend the program rates three days before and after the contracted dates, based on availability.   

Hotel room rates are subject to all applicable taxes and services charges at the time of check-in.  IA maximum of two children under the age of eighteen per room is complimentary.  Charges for roll-aways and cribs may apply.

There is a reduced daily resort fee of $30.00 per room, per night, plus tax. The resort fee provides for an enhanced stay experience for guests and which currently includes:

LATE CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS
Thirty Days up to Eight Days Prior to Arrival: All cancellations received within this time period will be assessed two nights’ room rate, plus applicable taxes. Any adjustments to the reservations will be assessed half of the cancelled night(s) rate, plus applicable taxes.

Seven Days up to Arrival Date: Any and all adjustments to a reservation within this period will be assessed the cost of the full length of stay, plus applicable taxes. This includes full or partial cancellation or no shows.

PORTERAGE SERVICE CHARGES
Porterage charges are mandatory per Hotel's union contract for all groups, and are currently established at $13.00 per person, round trip, plus applicable taxes that are currently 17.962% subject to change. This rate is based on two (2) bags per person. 100% of porterage charges are allocated to service personnel who provide services for the Event.

HOUSEKEEPING GRATUITIES
Housekeeping gratuities are up to the individual’s discretion and recommended at $4.00 per day. All housekeeping gratuities are distributed to those members of Hotel’s staff servicing Group’s attendees.

Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out time is before 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Travel & Ground Transportation

The Grand Hyatt is approximately 15 miles/30 minutes from Lihue Airport.

• Taxi's are available. Arrange in advance or airport phones are located curbside at baggage claim areas.
• Uber and Lyft are available.  
• All major rental car companies are represented on Kauai. To pick up your car at the airport, proceed from the baggage claim area to the Rent-A-Car booths across the street from the terminal. Avis is also available in the lobby of the resort.
• Hotel offers area shuttle service upon request 4:30 pm - 10 pm.
