This meeting will take place as both a live in-person and a Zoom Meeting. Faculty presentations will be viewed followed by live panel discussions. Upon registration, you will receive a conformation email which will include Zoom connection information, and a Zoom invitation will also be sent a day before the course date.

Course Description & Intended Audience

Emerging Techniques and Technologies in Cardiovascular Imaging is a meeting intended to update attendees on both practical and cutting edge techniques in cardiac CT and MRI. This course is designed for physicians, residents, fellows and technologists using cardiac MRI and CT in their clinical or research practice.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Examine recent advancements in coronary CTA, including its use in procedural planning and functional assessment.
• Describe the imaging characteristics of fat-containing cardiac masses and their pathological correlations.
• Define the role of coronary calcium scoring and coronary CTA in assessing cardiovascular risk and guiding treatment.
