Course Description & Intended Audience

Emerging Techniques and Technologies in Cardiovascular Imaging is a meeting intended to update attendees on both practical and cutting edge techniques in cardiac CT and MRI. This course is designed for physicians, residents, fellows and technologists using cardiac MRI and CT in their clinical or research practice.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Examine representative cardiovascular imaging cases to identify coronary pathology, assess plaque burden, and recognize anomalous coronary anatomy
  • Define imaging markers essential for assessment and management of aortic and mitral valve disease, including transcatheter intervention planning
  • Describe the principles, capabilities, and emerging clinical applications of low-field CMR
