Course Description & Intended Audience

Tutorials in Diagnostic Radiology is a postgraduate course designed to update the diagnostic radiologist on new trends, relevant techniques, and practical applications in diagnostic imaging. The latest advances will be emphasized and related to common problems encountered in clinical practice.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Identify imaging features and clinical considerations that influence the diagnosis and management of common and complex breast imaging findings.
• Analyze MRI findings of musculoskeletal conditions to differentiate benign processes, tumor mimics, and clinically significant pathology.
• Examine imaging anatomy and pathology of the brain, spine, and head and neck to recognize key findings in neurologic disease.
• Determine appropriate imaging evaluation and interpretation strategies for abdominal and pelvic diseases, including oncologic and vascular conditions.
• Identify imaging findings and determine diagnostic strategies for thoracic, abdominal, and pediatric emergencies.
