Course Description & Intended Audience

Tutorials in Diagnostic Radiology is a postgraduate course designed to update the diagnostic radiologist on new trends, relevant techniques, and practical applications in diagnostic imaging. The latest advances will be emphasized and related to common problems encountered in clinical practice.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Identify key imaging characteristics of common and uncommon breast pathologies, including male breast diseases, pregnancy-associated breast cancer, and invasive lobular carcinoma
  • Describe the multimodality imaging findings of breast implants and their associated complications to improve diagnostic accuracy
  • Recognize imaging patterns of peripheral nerve entrapments, sports-related injuries, and arthropathies in musculoskeletal radiology
  • Examine the role of advanced imaging techniques, such as photon-counting CT and myelography, in evaluating neuroradiological conditions
  • Define imaging criteria for incidental findings in abdominal, cardiovascular, and pediatric imaging, differentiating between normal variants and pathology
