Course Description

Ultrasound Research Center Hybrid Symposium will focus on new scientific and clinical advances using ultrasound imaging and ultrasound-based measurements. Multidisciplinary research will be showcased. Opportunities will be given to share scientific advancements and facilitate collaborations among scientists and clinicians across the institutions.

In addition to offering live attendance, this course will also be offered as a Hybrid option where external attendees can attend virtually via Zoom.

Intended Audience

Mayo Clinic physicians, scientists, residents, fellows, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and sonographers who are engaged in ultrasound research, clinical practice innovation, education or policy change.

Course Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Examine Artificial Intelligence for Diagnosis of Pulmonary Hypertension by Echocardiography
  • Analyze Minimally Invasive Epicardial Ultrasound for Guidance of Ablation by a Novel Percutaneous Epicardial Sheath
  • Evaluate Ultrasound Elastography for Compartment Syndrome Assessment in a Turkey in Vivo Model
  • Discuss Point of Care Ultrasound and Other Disruptive Technology
