Lodging Accommodations

4/1/24 Update: On certain days of the week, the garden/pool view rooms are sold out. Should there be any cancellations for these rooms, they will become available on the booking link. In the meantime, we've added coastline/partial ocean view rooms at a group rate of $525/night. Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at a special course rate.  Radiology CME kindly requests attendees limit the number of guest rooms reserved to a single room, when possible.  Please contact our CME office (RadiologyCME@mayo.edu) to inquire about the availability of additional rooms, should you need more than one room.

To receive these special rates, reservations must be made on or before June 14, 2024, and will be based on availability.  Reservations made after this date will be based on space and rate availability.

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, with a special course rate of $359 per night for garden/pool view rooms (sold out) and $525 per night for coastline/partial ocean view Rooms. The group block has not secured guaranteed bed types and availability of double-bedded rooms is very limited over these dates, the front office will make every effort to accommodate your request, although it cannot be guaranteed in advance due to these constraints.

Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check-in.  Group rates will apply three days prior to and three days post course, based on availability.  The reduced daily resort fee is $25 per room per night and includes:

• Unlimited in-room High Speed Internet Access, wireless and wired (a value of $19.95 per room, per night)
• Local telephone calls in Southern California
• 24-hour computer access to the Private Business Centers
• Daily Yoga and Pilates classes in the Gazebo overlooking the Pacific Ocean
• Individual guest use of The Ritz-Carlton Spa’s sauna and steam rooms
• Shuttle service to and from Salt Creek Beach on an individual guest request basis (not applicable to group transfers)
• Access to resort’s Beach Butler Service and use of beach recreation equipment including fins, towel service, umbrellas, and beach chairs
• Unlimited use of the Tennis Courts including rackets. Tournament and clinic fees are additional
• Preferred golf tee-times at Monarch Beach Golf Links, including shuttle service and golf bag storage on an individual guest request basis. (not applicable to group transfers)
• Participation in the resort’s scheduled “Garden” and “Connect the Dots” Eco-Adventure Tour (once daily)

To receive the special group rate, reservations must be made on or before June 14, 2024. Reservations will be made after this date based on space and rate availability.  These discounted rooms fill quickly and usually prior to the reservation deadline. We highly encourage you to make your room reservations early to avoid disappointment.

All reservations must be accompanied by a two-night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Individual reservations must be modified or canceled at least 7 days prior to arrival to avoid a late cancellation fee equivalent to the full length of stay of the reservation. No-show reservations are charged the full length of stay of the reservation.

PORTERAGE STAFF CHARGE
A $15.00 Porterage Staff Charge per person, round trip, plus any applicable taxes are applied to luggage services.

Golf Bag Handling Staff Charge: $5.00 per bag
In-room Deliveries Staff Charge $5.00 per room
Under-the-door Deliveries Staff Charge: $3.00 per room

Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and check-out time is before 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Ground Transportation

Several rental car companies service the area and are available through counters at airport terminals or can be arranged by the hotel Concierge Desk.

Travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology CME is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting.  Costs incurred by the registrant such as airline or hotel fees or penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.

Parking

Hotel Guest: Overnight valet parking is offered at a rate of $25 per car, per night.  Day use parking is offered at a rate of $20 per day for guests not staying overnight at the hotel.  Self-parking is not available.

Non-registered guests attending the conference:  There is not a self-parking lot; it is valet parking only.  Inform the valet that you are with Mayo Clinic, and you will be charged the reduced rate of $20 per day by the hotel for valet parking.
